Fall-Winter 2020/2021 Ready-To-Wear
March 03, 2020
The ELIE SAAB ready-to-wear Fall-Winter 2020/2021 collection weaves the unique flare of Andalusia with the story of the modern woman as they both balance intellect with innate beauty and embrace their diverse identity; one that gives way to a fearless singularity.
Playful prints that mix the ELIE SAAB monogram with polka-dotted borders dance their way throughout the daywear. With black as the prominent color, flowy skirts often punctuated with a light polka-dot overlay give her an airy and effortlessly fluid motion. Expanding on the Seville-inspired 2020 pre-fall collection in a tour-de-force of structural mastery, pants and skirts are mixed and matched with form-fitting blazers, vests and breezy blouses. Brocade, tweed and velvet lend a contemporary touch and make way for endless combinations that span a variety of looks.
For signature evening looks, beaded sequins gowns sparkle with romance as deliberately placed single feathers dot the pieces with an elegance that reflects her character. The plisse taffeta is introduced in daring emerald and violet dresses, layered asymmetrically to give off a voluminous fluidity. In the white and black beaded dresses structured in vertical lines of sequins, the Andalusian bullfighter is reimagined for her, all at once flirty and extravagant.
As abstract embroidered floral motifs appear throughout, final looks are accessorized with large thread embroidered earrings, long leather gloves and wistful headpieces. Silk belts are detailed with tassels giving a straightforward yet soft silhouette and topped off with a matching tasseled bag.
