de GRISOGONO once again raises the bar for creative, unique and glamorous jewelry in both expanding pre-existing lines and introducing new and exciting collections. As ever in tune with the times, Allegra adopts a new aesthetic in 2015. Its iconic ring composed of nine bands is now available in a seven-band version. The earrings have also been revisited and welcome a dainty newcomer to this collection in a smaller 30mm-diameter size. In true de GRISOGONO style, the new Vortice collection features the interlacing aesthetic, which is so instantly recognizable as a creation of the Geneva-based jeweler-watchmaker. Rings and earrings wrap themselves around the skin, literally becoming one with the wearer. This year also sees the Boule collection undergo a transformation, having been given a new face and infused with a new soul. The High Jewelry collection is once again composed around sublime gemstones such as emeralds, diamonds, sapphires and turquoises with the standout piece a one-of-a-kind necklace that is a testament to the jeweler’s motto of ‘The Beauty of Audacity’. At the heart of this unique necklace, Fawaz Gruosi gives pride of place to the exceptional sizes of the briolette-cut gems and the spectacular colors of the emeralds with their mesmerizing transparency and depth. Beneath the outward illusion of apparent simplicity, every detail of this creation is mastered to perfection.
