QBBF Host World Champion Boxer Amir Khan

Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF) was pleased to host the British professional boxer Amir Khan at the recently opened Nozomi restaurant, at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha. The two-time former world champion boxer was visiting Doha for the AIBA World Boxing Championships. The evening event saw many of Qatar’s business community come together for a unique British evening with one of the UK’s most celebrated sports personalities. Khan, who recently became a parent, gave an inspirational speech calling for parents to be role models for their children. He also spoke about the importance and benefits of sports and athleticism as well as his charity work. Khan is an ambassador for OXFAM and The Prince’s Trust as well as his own charity, the Amir Khan Foundation.
