Spring-Summer 2017 Ready-to-Wear

For the Spring-Summer 2017 Ready-to-Wear Collection, Delpozo presented a line called “Luminosity" that was a beautiful dramatic work of art. Inspired by Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida and Soo Sunny Park, the collection played with light, as does the work of the two mentioned artists. Most striking were the beautiful shapes that made their way down the runway. Some even seemed to appear out of a novel or a fairytale. The designs were most notable for their volume. The collection’s intention was to explore lightness.  Though the pieces had volume, they still managed to feel weightless. The color palette ranged from oranges, blues and greens and featured tailored pants, floral print dresses and tops with large bows.
